First Sketches

In both cases I wanted to highlight through the composition the person who is smoking on the terrace. I thought it would be good to communicate that the person smoking is enjoying the fact of being on the terrace in the sun and ''watching life go by'' as the text says.

The people around would not be so dark in the final art but I did it this way so that the difference could be seen, they would be soft shadows with different shades.

Final Illustration

For the final artwork, I've been working on the color tones, shadows, and light so that the smoking character is the main focus. I also wanted to give notoriety to the background of the city, as an icon of Barcelona I've chosen the Agbar Tower, as it fits better with an urban environment than any other type of building.
